Snickerdoodles
Mix thoroughly:
1 cup shortening
1 ½ cups sugar
2 eggs
2 ¾ cups flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp soda
¼ tsp salt
400 degree oven 8-10 minutes.
Sift together, stir in, roll into balls and into sugar and cinnamon mixture. Ungreased cookie
sheet, bake until lightly brown, still soft.
